Kevin R. Hauge

Artistic Director

In his 21st season as artistic director at CMT, Kevin has led the nation’s leading theater company for youth in taking on increasingly challenging and professional-quality productions. His innovative approach to productions includes incorporating modern techniques and technology, all culminating in recognition of artistic excellence from the National Endowment for the Arts for ten years. A recipient of the prestigious Lin Wright Special Recognition Award by the American Alliance for Theater and Education, he has been the guest speaker at the International Association of Theater Educators Conference in Washington D.C. and the Education and Technology conference in New York City. Kevin has collaborated on productions in a variety of venues all over the world. He has staged ice shows, magic shows, musical revues, industrial shows, corporate parties, television specials and book musicals for a variety of companies, including Tropworld (Atlantic City), Harrah’s (Reno), Six Flags Parks (nationwide), and Royal Viking Cruise Lines (worldwide). Some of the unique productions Kevin has worked on include You’re In the Movies (MGM Grand) in Las Vegas, World of Wonders (Everland) in Seoul, South Korea, and a special Easter Celebration (The White House) in Washington D.C. Kevin has appeared several times as a guest artist with the San Jose Symphony and has served on the exhibits committee at the Tech Museum of Innovation.

Dana Zell

Managing Director

Dana is a CMT alumna and is thrilled to be back in the CMT family. As Managing Director, she brings with her more than fifteen years of theatrical management and marketing experience. Previous clients include the Broadway touring production of Wicked,  Disney Theatrical Productions (Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Aida), Broadway touring productions of Hairspray and Contact, The Roundabout Theatre Company, and the Vineyard Theatre. She also served as Marketing Director for CMT from 2003 to 2005. Dana holds a BA in Communications from University of California, San Diego and an MFA in Theater Management from Brooklyn College.

Shannon Self

Artistic Manager

Shannon Self, a CMT alumna, is the fulltime Artistic Manager at CMTSJ.  In addition to directing, choreographing, teaching, and occasionally performing for CMTSJ, Shannon oversees all ten production workshops each year.  Shannon has also performed with AMTSJ, Theatrical Arts Int. in Los Angeles, and Lenape Regional Theater in Philadelphia. Shannon has a bachelor's degree in theater and dance from Santa Clara University.

Lakshmi Parige

Finance Director

Lakshmi Parige has been working with CMTSJ since September, 2008. She has over ten years of experience working with non-profits.  Lakshmi, holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and has a strong background in office management.  As the Finance Director of the organization, Lakshmi is in-charge of the Finance operations and Human resources of the organization.

Deanna Knudsen

Education Manager

Deanna, a New Jersey native, is thrilled to join CMT in sunny San Jose to manage the education programs.  She returns to theatre after a few years in the film industry where she worked at the talent agency WME Entertainment and Pixar Animation Studios.  Previously, she worked in management for Broadway, Off-Broadway, West End and Boston companies.  At Boston University, where she received her BFA in Theatre Arts Management and a Certificate in Business, Deanna managed a theatre education program where she learned the joys of working with youth.  Deanna grew up with youth musical theatre companies and believes whole-heartedly in the power of theatre to help young people become the best versions of themselves.

Josh Rose

Production Manger

Josh Rose earned his BFA in Stage Management and Theatre Technology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.  After graduation, Josh spent four years in the Seattle area working for various companies including The Fifth Avenue Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Village Theatre, and Tacoma Actors Guild.  After moving to the Bay Area in 2005, Josh worked with TheatreWorks and San Jose Repertory Theatre before joining CMT in 2011.

Joel Heinschel

Technical Supervisor

Joel obtained a BFA from the University of Wyoming. After college he worked at TheaterWorks in Palo Alto for 5 years and then made the transition to CMT. He greatly enjoys his colleagues and his work. In his off time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Peter Hayes

Box Office Manager

Peter is a veteran of children’s theater productions in Santa Clara and a film studies graduate of UC Santa Cruz, and first became affiliated with the CMT box office while working at AMTSJ. Since then, he’s managed events for Broadway San Jose, SJ Civic concerts, and dozens of other cultural events in San Jose, but he still enjoys serving CMT patrons the best.

Anna Swan

Marketing Manager

Anna is a northwest Seattle native who flew south to better weather and real ocean views in Santa Cruz. She joined the CMT San Jose team in September 2015 as the Marketing Manager, and enjoys all of the different facets of her job at CMT. Anna holds a BA in Creative Media and Digital Culture from Washington State University; it was there she focused her studies on Social Media and Digital Fine Arts. Before her move to the Bay Area, she lived in Portland, where she worked as the Marketing Director for a small artistic journal. On weekends, you can find Anna biking around Santa Cruz and exploring the California coast.

Sean Book

Philanthropic Engagement Manager

Originally from St. Louis, Sean joined CMT in November 2016 as the Philanthropic Engagement Manager; his favorite part of the job is meeting new people and hearing their stories. Prior to this position, he worked with several other arts organizations, including Opera Theatre St. Louis, St. Louis Black Repertory, California Repertory, and the Arts Council for Long Beach. Sean holds a BA in Theatre and a BS in Business Management from St. Louis University, and an MBA/MFA in Theatre Management from California State University, Long Beach.

Kristen Hermosillo

Project Coordinator

Kristen Hermosillo began her journey with CMT over nine years ago, when she auditioned for her first musical ever, Annie Warbucks. Since then she’s performed in nearly twenty CMT productions, and served on the artistic staffs of three Mainstage shows. Kristen started out as a camp counselor and Studio Class assistant, and within a few years was managing those two programs. After a brief hiatus to travel through Europe and live in Ireland, she’s back doing what she loves most, working full-time for her favorite company.

Heidi Delgros

Administrative Assistant

Heidi and her two daughters have been involved with CMT since 2005. She first started working in the front office as a parent volunteer; after nine years, they just put her on the payroll. She’s amassed many years of experience in office management, marketing, purchasing, customer service and remembering birthdays, so now she does those things here. And, as a professional editor and proofreader, she also makes a career of pointing out others’ mistakes. She still volunteers with CMT in many capacities, her favorite being Mainstage Show Coordinator; in her spare time she leads her daughter’s Girl Scout troop and works 33+ hours a week at a second
