*A Note About Auditing:
Because so often, one can learn just as much from observing as they can from participating, CMT offers the opportunity to audit this class - or observe without participating. When the pressure to perform doesn’t overwhelm us, our ability to listen increases, allowing us to incorporate suggestions made for others into our own work patterns.
Who Can Attend?
This class is available for ages 8 and up. You do NOT need to have participated at CMT previously to attend this workshop. Audits are welcome at the door. The cost to audit is $40 (please provide a check, made payable to CMT, when you arrive).
This class is not for beginners. For those who are looking to get their feet wet or learn more about the CMT audition process, we invite you to join one of our CMT Audition Master Classes held prior to each of our auditions.
What To Bring
Students should have a prepared song to sing.

Bio: Aaron Albano
Aaron Albano was attending school in San Jose when, one morning, he attended a CMT Student Audience Matinee. When the intermission speaker invited curious audience members to call CMT for more information (“288-KIDS!!!”), Aaron did. Things changed for him pretty quickly.
A participant in many CMT shows, Aaron also attended Lincoln High School and starred in productions there, all the while dancing at Marie Stinnett’s Dance Studio. Following high school, Aaron continued his studies at the University of Cincinnati: College-Conservatory of Music, one of the nation’s top musical theatre programs.
Shortly after college, Aaron made his Broadway debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Bombay Dreams. He went on the 1st National Tour of Wicked, during which he also covered the role of Boq. He then jumped over to the tour of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. While on tour, he was offered the role of Chip Tolentino in the San Francisco production of …Spelling Bee, which allowed him to return home for seven months. Aaron has since moved back to New York and has appeared on Broadway in …Spelling Bee, A Chorus Line, and one can currently find him eight times a week at the New Amsterdam Theatre, performing with the flying Nanny in Mary Poppins. Currently on a short, much-needed summer vacation, Aaron is thrilled to drop by CMT and meet its current crop of talented performers!
