Session Dates: February 23 – April 30
CMT offers a variety of classes for all ages and experience levels. CMT Studio Classes offer young participants a safe environment to explore and try new things. Older participants will be challenged to reach new heights and gain self confidence in our skill building classes. Check out available classes by age below.
Recital classes are performance-based and focus on musical theater training by teaching the basics of acting, singing and dancing in a supportive and fun environment. Students will learn songs and dances as well as unison and individual lines. The young actor will gain self-confidence, stage presence and how to put on a show. The final day of class features a recital for family and friends.

Where will Classes be held?
Classes will be held at CMT’s Creative Arts Center 1545 Parkmoor Ave.
What is the ratio of staff to students?

What should students bring?
Students are asked to wear closed-toed shoes, comfortable clothing that they can easily move in. Water bottles are encouraged. Appropriate dance shoes are recommended for Beginning Dance Classes and required for Intermediate/Advanced Dance classes.

Tiny Tots and Junior Talents recital classes will culminate in a final recital for limited invited guests. Rising Stars and Mainstage classes do not have final showcases.
Can parents observe or see the space where classes are held? Can we take a trial class?
For the comfort and safety of all students, CMT classes are closed to just students. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay in the waiting area at CMT while their child is in class and enjoy the Creative Arts Center. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer trial classes at this time.
How will drop off and pick up work?
Families are asked to park in the front or side of the building and walk their students to the studio entrance located at the side of the Creative Arts Center.
What if we need to arrive late, pick up early or miss a day altogether?
While we strongly encourage all students to attend every class on time, we understand things come up! Please check in with the Class Coordinator at the Studio Desk if you arrive late for class. If you need to miss a class, please let your Instructor know ahead of time when possible.
Does my child need to be vaccinated to participate?
No. Vaccinations are not required for CMT classes at this time.
Does my child need to wear a mask?
No. Masks are not required for CMT classes at this time.
What is your policy for students or staff who test positive for COVID-19?
Currently, CMT classes follow County guidance for quarantining and returning to in-person activities. Once an individual tests positive for COVID-19, they must quarantine for 5 days. On Day 5, they may take an at-home test. If the result is negative, they may return the following day. If the result is positive, they should continue to quarantine and test daily and may return once the result is negative. After 10 days, symptom-free individuals may return regardless of testing status. No cancellations or refunds will be issued for absences due to COVID-19 after the cancellation deadline.
Cancellation Policy:
The cancellation deadline is set one week prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be given after the cancellation deadline. Cancellation requests made before the deadline are subject to a $50 processing fee.
No exceptions will be made for cancellations due to COVID-related absences once the program is in session.
