Student Audience Matinees
Give your class the gift of theater and join us at a CMT San Jose student matinee field trip. CMT offers special weekday morning performances for 9 seasonal productions, giving K-12 classes across the Bay Area a full-length production complete with a Q&A session during intermission and a post-show meet and greet with the cast. For many students, it’s their first time seeing live musical theater, and it can be the moment that sparks a lifelong love of the art form. Teachers receive a study guide to help prepare their students before the show. Thanks to generous support from Applied Materials and the Shortino Foundation, tickets cost just $15 each, with fully subsidized tickets available for Title 1 schools and community groups serving underserved youth in San Jose. All Student Audience Matinees take place at the Montgomery Theater in Downtown San Jose.

Title 1 Ticket Request Form
If your school is Title 1, you are eligible for free tickets (on first come, first served basis) thanks to generous local funders. The Title 1 Request Form opens for one week beginning August 17.
