Give your class the gift of theater and join us at a Student Audience Matinee. CMT offers Special weekday morning performances for all 11 seasonal productions. Student and community groups throughout the Bay Area will be treated to a full length production including a Q & A session during intermission and a post-show meet and greet with the cast. Teachers receive a study guide to help prepare them and their students for each experience.
Thanks to generous support by Applied Materials and the Shortino Foundation, student audience matinee tickets cost a minimal $15 each and fully subsidized tickets are available for Title 1 schools and community groups dedicated to underserved youth of San Jose.
All Student Audience Matinees take place at the Montgomery Theater in Downtown San Jose. This season’s production of Diary of a Wimpy Kid offers multiple shows to choose from each day. All other performances begin promptly at 10am.

If your school is Title 1, you are eligible for free tickets (on first come, first served basis) thanks to generous local funders. The Title 1 Request Form opens for one week in August and is currently closed.
