Coming Up
CINDERELLA
November 10 - 21, 2010Directed & Choreographed by:
SHANNON SELF
The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity, the hearts of children and adults alike still soar when the slipper fits. This enchanting production casts ages 8 through 15.
HAIRSPRAY
December 3 - 12, 2010Directed & Choreographed by:
KEVIN R. HAUGE
Hairspray delights audiences by sweeping them away to 1960's Baltimore, where the 50's are out -- and change is in the air. Loveable plus-size heroine, Tracy Turnblad, has a passion for dancing, and wins a spot on the local TV dance program, "The Corny Collins Show." Overnight she finds herself transformed from outsider to teen celebrity. Can a larger-than-life adolescent manage to vanquish the program's reigning princess, integrate the television show, and find true love (singing and dancing all the while, of course!) without mussing her hair? This Marquee Production casts ages 16 and up.
