Classes will be held at CMT’s Creative Arts Center 1545 Parkmoor Ave.

Does my child need to be vaccinated to participate?

No. Vaccinations are not required for CMT classes at this time.

Does my child need to wear a mask?

No. Masks are not required for CMT classes at this time.

What is your policy for students or staff who test positive for COVID-19?

Currently, CMT classes follow County guidance for quarantining and returning to in-person activities. Once an individual tests positive for COVID-19, they must quarantine for 5 days. On Day 5, they may take an at-home test. If the result is negative, they may return the following day. If the result is positive, they should continue to quarantine and test daily and may return once the result is negative. After 10 days, symptom-free individuals may return regardless of testing status. No cancellations or refunds will be issued for absences due to COVID-19 after the cancellation deadline.

What is the ratio of staff to students?

Each class will have a minimum of two staff members with them at all times. Class capacities are 16 students per class for Tiny Tots and Junior Talents and 25 students per class for Rising Stars and Mainstage.

What should students bring?

Students are asked to wear closed-toed shoes, comfortable clothing that they can easily move in. Water bottles are encouraged. Appropriate dance shoes are recommended for Beginning Dance Classes and required for Intermediate/Advanced Dance classes.

Will there be a final performance?

Tiny Tots and Junior Talents recital classes will culminate in a final recital for limited invited guests. Rising Stars and Mainstage classes do not have final showcases.

Can parents observe or see the space where classes are held? Can we take a trial class?

Only registered students and staff members may be on site while programs are running for the comfort and safety of our students. Therefore, trial classes are not offered at this time and parents are not invited to observe.

How will drop off and pick up work?

Families are asked to park in the front or side of the building and walk their students to the studio entrance located at the side of the Creative Arts Center.

What if we need to arrive late, pick up early or miss a day altogether?

While we strongly encourage all students to attend every class on time, we understand things come up! Please check in with the Class Coordinator at the Studio Desk if you arrive late for class. If you need to miss a class, please let your Instructor know ahead of time when possible.
